Who We Are
Sioux Falls Gratia Community Church is a group of believers that wish to continue the living for the history of God that He has called us to take part in. Through reading (from the Scriptures), teaching (Bible studies), and preaching (Evangelism), the main objective of our church is to carry out the Great Commission in Matthew 28, and make disciples of all nations.
Jesus Christ, as He showed through His sacrifice on the cross, opening the way for our salvation. Gratia is a church is purposed to help you know Christ deeply and to form a strong and loving relationship with Him based on grace, a grace that will forgive you of your sins and grant you the power of God's Holy Spirit to live a life that will glorify Him.
The Bible tells us that it is through hearing the Word that we gain faith, allowing us to receive God's grace, which we then share with people through fellowship and acts of service. We hope that our services and Bible studies will help the Word come alive to you, and that you may feel it near to you as God intends.
Active church planting projects were initiated in order to reach the local people more effectively and penetrate the city powerfully.
The Great Commission of preaching the Word to the ends of the earth also inspired the church planting project in reaching many more cities in South Dakota State.
Our hope is reach out to many souls with the power of the Word of God and share in the joy of salvation that comes from knowing Jesus Christ.
Located in Sioux Falls, we wish to be instrumental in the fulfillment of God’s dream, the universal vision of building the body of Christ. We seek the abundant diversity formed by people from various backgrounds harmoniously united in the truth.
The word preached in different languages is delivered through acknowledged ministers to help people deeply digest the truth and experience individual transfiguration.
We are fully committing to fulfilling the great commission that the Lord Jesus Christ appointed His children to follow. As true disciples of Christ, we not only listen to the Word of God, but we also follow the footsteps of Christ in feeding the lost sheep and dying so that many other may live in Christ. Therefore, we wish to spread the good news of the Gospel to the world, neighborhood, and street.
We are continually growing and preparing to set up multiple sites per city. We believe that in order to share the joy of salvation that comes through Jesus Christ, we must consider the most strategic method in reaching hundreds and thousands of people. Church planting allows our congregation to put the Word into practice and reach the masses with the message of the Gospel. In this way, we can truly heal the wounded, influence lives, and change the world with the knowledge of Christ.
The Word of God gives us true life and a sense of satisfaction we could never find in the secular world. Through our gender-based, age-based, and interest-based ministries there is a place where God can use every person in investing their talents and life for the Kingdom of God. We are committed to sharing fellowship, sharing life, and sharing the joy of the Lord through our Christ-centered churches no matter the location.
We welcome those who are willing to serve with the gifts and skills innately blessed by God. We seek to branch out the types of work related to faith, varying the opportunities of revealing and making the most of all talents, ultimately to serve His Kingdom.

Understanding that Christ "loved the church and gave himself up for her" (Ephesians 5:25), Gratia retains formal membership. We acknowledge formal membership as an important step in demonstrating our commitment to Jesus Christ.
All believers are members of the body of Christ and local church membership is the public acknowledgement of this spiritual reality. As followers of Christ, we are all "members of the household of God" (Ephesians 2:19), and it is our duty to play our roles as a member of His body. We become one healthy body when each member does its part well (1 Corinthians 12:20).
Sioux Falls Gratia Community Church holds its members in high regard—they are expected to proclaim and reveal the gospel in anywhere their life happens. In a multi-cultural city, God, in his sovereignty, placed us among these people with a purpose. We pray to be faithful managers of the House of God.
A membership system serves the church in this regard—to equip people to produce spiritual growth and be accountable to each other for spiritual growth. A person cannot be accountable when they are not committed to any specific church family. We pray that the unity formed by the commitment of diverse people gains the power to bring gospel impact to the city.
Being a member of Gratia accepts a call to a higher degree of responsibility and service. It also defines who can be entrusted with positions of ministry leadership within the church. We are all disciples of Jesus who set apart for one dream of building Kingdom of God on earth. You enter into a membership covenant so as to participate officially as a part of the movement of God's kingdom within the church.
WHO IS JESUS?
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. - John 14:6
Sioux Falls Gratia Community Church, we're all about Jesus. Jesus is a our good friend.
He was to die for our sins. Because of his death on the cross, we have the opportunity daily to live the new life Jesus. Jesus loves and guides us how to love and live in a way that brings glory to God.
Jesus forgives us our sin though we don't deserve it. Jesus had no sin, he would die on the cross for our sins, and that he is the only way to get salvation. The only way to be friends with God is through Jesus.
God loves us! He sent His own Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. He died for your sins. He was punished so you don't have to be. Not only that; death did not defeat Him. After three days, Jesus rose from the dead, alive again!
The only way to find forgiveness from God and to begin a relationship with Him is to trust in Jesus' sacrifice for you and repent, turn from your sins. We urge you to take this step of faith today. To do that, simply talk to God, this is called praying, and tell Him you believe in His Son.
We suggest a prayer like this:
Dear heavenly Father, I know that I'm a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you've died for my sins, and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins. I repent of my sins. I invite you to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, Amen.
- Billy Graham
CAN JESUS REALLY CHANGE MY LIFE?
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16
No matter who you are or how you've lived your life, God will receive you into His family. He will change you and make you complete. Trust Him and experience His mercy for yourself.
Jesus is holy. He is powerful. And He can change your life. Your new life can start now.
In Jesus our sins are forgiven on the cross, and cross is not the end but the beginning of life with Jesus.
